Baking red velvet cupcakes at Sammy’s house! Sigh the batter had so much potential for an intense scarlet colour but the cupcakes looked like regular chocolate.
I rarely abbreviate my text messages.

When should i start growing up?
So I’m graduating from junior college this year end, and I feel like I’m all ready to grow up. After my A levels, I’m going to:
- Go on a grad trip with my friends
- Learn driving
- Complete my university applications to UCL, LSE, King’s, Warwick, then to SMU and NUS for law — and GET those acceptances
- Get a job
- Find tutoring students (at least 2)
- Learn a new sport/language/skill
- Dye my hair
I know, it sounds like I have the next year at least all mapped out, but looking at all these American teenagers on youtube who are barely older than me, but are already emancipated, driving, owning cars and property… truly says a lot about it takes much longer for kids in my society to grow up.
Things to invest in post A’s:
- A new pair of specs (my current ones have lasted me 5 years) — recommendations for brands?
- work clothes! — Zara will be my first stop!
- a carry-all I can use for work/uni (I should not let him get me one with a Label)
- a new hairstyle
- new eyeliner, mascara, eyelash curler, lipstick, foundation, concealer (or maybe BB cream which rolls both+sunscreen into one), blush, a WHOLENEWSETOFBRUSHES WOOHOO — hmm should I purchase online @ NARS?
- Muted nail colours — Chanel for SGD35 a pop? (:(:
Why do I feel like I have to look older to be taken more seriously?
You know you’re stressed when…
You’re tired of everything you do everyday but you can’t stop yourself from doing it. And you prevent people from trying to get you to live again by taking you out to have a good time. Sigh.
